I been an effective leaner by researching and finding different kinds of research and resources. I have been taking the initiative to schedule my  interviews and my service learning. During Model Assembly i did research and made surveys. i used my presentation skills to present my bill. Used mathematics skills,  United State Government text, Use science to find statistics and English to write a good counter argument.

 3. What are specific ways that you can improve in this ESLR during second semester?

- During second semester i will improve my research and my service learning. For example, i will go on more Ride-along and learn more. I goal is to reach beyond ipoly standards and become successful on my senior project.


What is an effective learner at I-Poly? A student who assumes responsibility and expresses personal creativity. The ipoly student must demonstrate beyond ipoly standards. They must demonstrate time management and must succeed. The student must be a outstanding ipoly citizen.

•  I'm doing my service learning hours with Pomona Police Explorers

2. How many hours have you completed?

•  Yes I completed my Ten hours of service learning.

3.What kinds of things are you doing, and what have you learned?

• I been doing Ride Alongs with police officers. Different details like Christmas parade, Pomona Police Explorer Meeting,Teen courts. I have learned alot during these four Months because i been going to my Ride- Along twice a month. I have learned how to cover a perimeter, citations, radio transmission, Police reports, recognizing Police forms and knowing how to fill them out.
