Idea Approval

1.What would you like to do/create for your independent component?
 - I would do more ride -alongs / more community events. basically  doing more hours for service learning.

2. Explain how you think this will be a worthwhile use of 30 hours?
- It will be useful because i would get more hands on experience. Doing more hours gives me an advantage because i will be more involved with the ride-alongs and the community events, therefore helping me answer my EQ.
  1. How will this help you to answer your EQ?
  2. I'm given the opportunity  to ask more questions to police officers about my topic. I will have a better perspective spending more time with them, as well as having a greater understanding and more knowledge with my EQ.

Interview Reflection #1

What is the most important thing I learned from the interview and why?
- I have learn alot from my interview for example i have learned that you should respect and understand the citizen that make the City of Pomona because i interviewed a Pomona Police Officer .  I also learned  and value education because the officer that I interviewed said that education will tent to open more doors in life. The officer said "Now in day is what you know and who you know" .. these word change my way of thinking to value my  education to a better future.

Five-Minute Presentation Reflection

1) What would you say stood out about your presentation performance and why?
- I think my poster and hearing  my self talk about my favorite topic made me stand out because I'm sharing to everyone about my hobbie/ future career in Law Enforcement.

2) What was most challenging to do and why?
- I think the most challenging thing for me is to do to get all the research i gathered and apply the research on my  5 minute presentation.

- Also i had a hard time trying to find good stories about Law Enforcement because i have so many stories. I think its very important to brainstorm before you start to apply your research on your 5 minute presentation.
